Natural Spring Water

Bottled water products labeled spring water must come from protected sources that are monitored on a regular basis.

Our natural Spring Water flows straight from a pristine aquifer located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina on the Eastern Continental Divide. Roaring Gap Springs was developed following the strict guidelines set forth by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture - Food and Drug Division. Natural underground pressure pushes our water to the surface through an enclosed piping system which was installed during the process of excavating and encasing (sealing) the spring. The initial holding tank at Roaring Gap Springs is filled only by gravity and the previously mentioned underground pressure forcing the water to the surface. We do not pump water from the aquifer, and we use no wells to collect this uniquely precious water.

  • Water is turned into steam to leave impurities behind.

  • Steam is condensed into pure water.

  • Comes from underground formation and
flows naturally to the surface of the earth.

  • Emanates from beneath the earth,
from under strata that formed in prehistoric times.

  • It is collected at the spring or through a bore hole,
tapping the underground formation, finding the spring.
